Huangpu River Cruise
Huangpu River is a 113 kilometers (70mi) long river, along which ships sail the whole day, transporting tourists impressed by the Huangpu River Cruise. The ships itself can be quite an attraction, and since the river divides the city into east and west, many of Shanghai’s most appealing sights can be observed while cruising. Nights offer even more beautiful sightseeing, so if you are able to choose, leave this cruise for the end of the day.
Ferry terminal is located at the southern end of the Bund, near Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund Hotel. Huangpu river cruises may vary in length, from those that last 45 minutes, to those of more than 3 hours. River cruises that last 45 to 60 minutes are enough because they go through the most beautiful part of the river. Ships operate from 10:00 to 20:30, and cruises cost about CNY100 per person.
